Robert Smith is a designer, professor and author. With over 20 years in the design and communications field, he has received over 100 awards of distinction from professional organizations and publications from around the world and has been featured in international trade magazines as well as being published in several hardbound publications. He has also judged major design competitions including Canada’s Juno Awards. His clients have included Warner Bros., DC Comics, The Royal Canadian Mint, Canadian Museum of History, Farm Boy and The Royal Canadian Mounted Police. He has been a guest speaker and presenter for many design and business conferences and gatherings.

A free shuttle bus from and to Baseline Station, Woodroffe Ave. is available for those who require transportation.



Lunch is provided with vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options. beverages and snacks will be available all day .


Custom notebook

Because this is a technology-free retreat, a special notebook that follows the day’s curriculum will be provided.

This retreat is technology free. Remain Calm.

No smartphones, laptops or tablets. You heard me. We practice the time-honoured tradition of “pens and pencils before pixels” to help you develop stronger solutions. Special Brainstorming at the Bunker notebooks and pens will be provided, as well as brief “technology breaks” between sessions and during lunch.
